So, this baseline kinda made me think of the perpetual movement of machines in a factory.

Clarence Ashley-The House Carpenter - Clarence Ashley
Recorded on April 14, 1930 in Atlanta, Georgia. This ballad was collected by Child as "The Daemon Lover" (Child No. 243), of which there are several variants. Harry Smith noted that the original version in the British Isles had a "supernatural theme" which didn't make it to North America.

A.A. Gray & Seven Foot Dilly-Streak Of Lean, Streak Of Fat - A. A. Gray & Seven Foot Dilly
Recorded on March 20, 1930 in Atlanta. A. A. gray plays the fiddle and John Dilleshaw (more popularly known as Seven Foot Dilly) plays guitar. It is my understanding that "streak of lean, streak of fat" is a reference to a southern side dish called "salt pork," a variation of what used to be known as "bacon." Dilly was much recorded during the twenties, both with Gray, and with his own stringband: Seven Foot Dilly and His Dill Pickles.

Eminem's Mosh - Ian Inaba
"On the eve of one of the most spirited elections in recent times, its time to try and turn out the vote. With more than 55 million voters between the ages of 18 and 35, this demographic group accounts for 36% of the total eligible voters in the U.S. And as witnessed in 2000 it all comes down to who shows up to vote on election day. The goal of this production was to make a video that inspired young people to vote because they too often disregard it as a powerless exercise...
